Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g sheep’s cheese
  • 150 g sardines in oil (1 can)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp horseradish from the jar
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 shot of beer
  • 1 pinch(s) black pepper
  • ½ small jar capers
  • ½ bunch chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

with sheep’s cheese and sardines in oil

Sauté the onions and garlic in butter until translucent. Finely chop the feta cheese. Combine all ingredients (except chives and capers) and mash well until a light, creamy, reddish mixture forms. Add more beer if necessary. Finally, finely chop the chives and fold them in with the capers. Spread a thick layer on fresh baguette or other types of bread.
