Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 600 g schnitzel or turkey meat, shredded
- some oil
- 1 can pineapple pieces
- 1 cup of cream
- ¼ liter broth
- 1 shot of whiskey
- 1 tbsp curry powder
- 1 tbsp turmeric
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp butter
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Brown the meat well in oil. Then season with salt and pepper. Add the tomato paste and cook gently. Deglaze with a generous splash of whiskey and reduce slightly. Add a little of the cream and season with curry and turmeric. When the meat has a nice golden color, add the stock. Bring to a boil, then add the cream and pineapple and bring back to a boil. Add the butter. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
