quick, tasty and healthy

Peel the potatoes and cook for about 12-15 minutes until soft. At the same time, cut the cabbage into small squares and cook in a sieve in a pot for about 15 minutes. This preserves most of the vitamins. Dice the onion and unwrap the ham cubes. Drain the potatoes and return the same pot to the stovetop with a little rapeseed oil. Sauté the onions and ham cubes for about 2-3 minutes, then add a little milk and butter. Remove the pot from the stovetop and add the potatoes. Mash the potatoes into a puree, adding a little more milk if necessary, and then stir in the cabbage. Season to taste with salt, pepper, oregano, and a little nutmeg.
