White Cabbage Side Dish Marinated
The perfect white cabbage side dish marinated recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 0,5 White cabbage
- 1 Onion
- 1 Apple
for marinating
- 2 Bay leaves
- 2 el Caraway seeds
- 2 el Dill chopped
- 2 shot glasses Apple Cider Vinegar
- 2 shot glasses Rapeseed oil
- 2 shot glasses Apple juice
- 1 el Sugar
- 1 tl Salt
- 1 tl Pepper
- 1 tl Chopped tarragon
- I chopped the herb into small pieces .. peeled the apple, as well as the onion and chopped .. I put the chopped vegetables in an impermeable bag .. mixed all the marinade ingredients and poured them into the bag .. I mixed vigorously , closed the bag and put it in the fridge overnight ..
- Now at lunchtime I put the marinated cabbage from the bag completely into a pot and simmered the cabbage for a good 90 minutes. at medium level … in between I mashed with a potato masher (because I didn’t have a sauerkohl masher – grin !!) .. the herb becomes nice and crumbly .. I just poured a small glass of apple juice on it ..
- So I gave this herb to the tied pork comb ..
