White wine – vanilla – pears

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 8 small pears
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 400 ml white wine, dry
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)
  • ¼ tsp anise, ground
  • ½ tsp cardamom
  • 400 ml water

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel the pears and drizzle with lemon juice. Bring the white wine to a boil with sugar, 400 ml water, and the listed spices. Add the pears and simmer for about 2 minutes. Then transfer the mixture to a prepared jar and seal. It will keep for about 6 months.
