Whole grain bread chips

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 wholemeal rolls, pre-baked
  • 2 tbsp garlic oil
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Preheat oven to 175°C (convection oven). Cut the rolls into 2-3 mm thin slices. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, brush with garlic oil, and sprinkle with salt. Bake for about 10 minutes until crispy. Let cool in the oven with the door open for about 10-15 minutes. A great alternative to traditional potato chips, also delicious with various dips or salads. You can also use any other roll or baguette and various flavored oils. I’ve tried neutral olive oil and an Italian herb blend, which were also very tasty.
