Wholemeal bread with oat flakes

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g wheat flour (wholemeal)
  • 1 cube of yeast
  • 500 ml water, lukewarm
  • 50 g oat flakes
  • 30 g sunflower seeds
  • 30 g sesame seeds
  • 30 g flaxseed
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp vinegar (fruit vinegar)
  • Oil, for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Grease a loaf pan well with oil. Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water in a large bowl. Add the remaining ingredients. Knead the mixture into a smooth dough using your hands or the dough hook of a stand mixer. Pour the dough into a loaf pan and place it in a cold oven. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 60 minutes. Tip: You can substitute the flour for other types of flour and top with additional seeds and/or kernels before baking.
