Wienerle in Tomato Curry Sauce

- 2 Onions
- 2 Gherkins
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 Tbsp, 5 g Sugar
- 1 Tbsp 5 g Curry powder
- 400 g Chunky tomatoes
- 200 g Tomato ketchup
- Salt pepper
- 1 tbsp Fruit vinegar
- 750 g Frozen French fries
- 4 Wiener sausages, approx. 400 g
- Bake the frozen French fries in the oven according to the baking instructions.
- Peel and finely dice the onions, heat the butter in a saucepan. Steam the onions until translucent. Sprinkle with sugar and melt. Dust with 1 tbsp curry and sauté briefly. Add chunky tomatoes, ketchup and cucumber. Bring to the boil and simmer covered for approx. 10 minutes. Season to taste with salt, pepper and vinegar.
- Cut the sausages into slices and heat them in the sauce. Season the sausage goulash with salt, pepper and curry.
- Remove the french fries and season with salt, serve with the sausage goulash.
