Winter dessert

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g quark
  • 125 g yogurt
  • 3 tsp sugar
  • 4 tsp, heaped jam (plum jelly)
  • 4 speculatius cookies

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Quark dish with plum jelly

In a bowl, mix the quark and yogurt with the sugar. Prepare two glasses and fill each with 2 tablespoons of the quark cream, then top each with a heaped teaspoon of plum jelly and spread it on top. Then, add another 2 tablespoons of quark cream to each glass, followed by 1 heaped teaspoon of plum jelly. Finally, add another 2 tablespoons of quark cream to each glass. Crumble the speculatius biscuits and spread them on the top layer. This dessert is easy to prepare in advance, but if you’re serving it later, you should only sprinkle the speculatius biscuits on top just before serving, as otherwise they’ll go soft.
