Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500 g flour
- 150 g sugar
- 200 g sour cream
- 150 g margarine
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 500 g lard, approx. for frying
- Powdered sugar, for sprinkling
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Knead the ingredients into a firm dough. Then, using a rolling pin, roll out the dough to about 5mm thick, cut into approximately 10x3cm rectangles, and cut a 7cm slit in the center. One end of the dough is then inserted through this slit and pulled through. The resulting dough pieces are then deep-fried in hot, liquid lard until golden brown and dusted with powdered sugar.
