Woodruff punch with woodruff syrup

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 bottle of sparkling wine
  • 1 bottle of white wine
  • 100 ml woodruff syrup
  • 100 ml lemon juice
  • 1 bunch lemon balm
  • 1 organic lemon(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

for approx. 10 – 12 glasses

Pluck the leaves from the lemon balm. Combine fresh lemon juice and woodruff syrup in a bowl. Cover and chill for 20 minutes. Top up with ice-cold white wine and sparkling wine before serving. If desired, garnish the punch with a lemon peel twist. I’m a big fan of this recipe. While it’s a classic summer drink, it’s been a hit at my Halloween parties and a Harry Potter party.
