Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg potatoes, peeled and diced
- 400 ml milk
- salt, pepper
- nutmeg
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp oil
- 8 sausages, wool sausages (swollen ones)

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Bavarian cuisine
Bring the potatoes to a boil with milk. Cover and cook for about 20 minutes until very soft. Add salt, pepper, nutmeg, and butter and mash finely with a potato masher. While the potatoes are cooking, fry the wool sausages in hot oil for about 3 minutes per side until golden brown.
