Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 wrap(s)
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 sausages (boiled sausages)
  • 1 tomato(s), chopped
  • 2 tbsp, heaped ketchup

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Mexican hot dog

Lay out the wrap and gently rub half of it with mayonnaise (leaving 3 cm of space around the edge so the wrap can still be wrapped). Mix the mustard into the mayonnaise. Meanwhile, place the two boiled sausages on a clean plate in the microwave and heat for three minutes at full heat. Now carefully distribute the tomato pieces on the wrap (don’t forget to leave a 3 cm edge). After 1.5 minutes, before they have completely burst, remove the sausages from the microwave and drape them lengthwise on the wrap so that they “bathe” in the tomatoes. Now spread the ketchup on them, carefully roll up the wrap, and secure it with wax paper. If necessary, wrap a kitchen towel around the bottom to prevent the tomatoes from dripping out. Tip: The wrap dogs taste best fresh and warm. If you have a contact grill, you should brown them for another three minutes until crispy, so the ketchup won’t drip as much.
