Wrapped Egg

The perfect wrapped egg recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 Eggs (L)
  • 1 Pckg. Gravlax
  • 1 Red peppers
  • 1 Salad (to taste)
  • Some wafer-thin sausage
  • Cling film
  • 1 Cup
  1. On Sundays we usually have a fine breakfast egg. This time I felt like a change … First, bring water to a boil in a saucepan.
  2. Line a cup with cling film and brush with a little oil. Now cut a lettuce leaf into fine strips and spread a few of them in the cup on the side. Do the same with the salmon and peppers. Finally, put an egg in the middle.
  3. Now the “packet” is tightly closed with a clip or something similar. Make as many packages as needed. Now they come into the boiling water for 5-6 minutes, then the egg yolk is still relatively runny, at 7-8 minutes it is soft as wax.
  4. Open the bags, remove the poached eggs and … let taste good. Buon appetito 😀
