Wrapped Egg
The perfect wrapped egg recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 4 Eggs (L)
- 1 Pckg. Gravlax
- 1 Red peppers
- 1 Salad (to taste)
- Some wafer-thin sausage
- Cling film
- 1 Cup
- On Sundays we usually have a fine breakfast egg. This time I felt like a change … First, bring water to a boil in a saucepan.
- Line a cup with cling film and brush with a little oil. Now cut a lettuce leaf into fine strips and spread a few of them in the cup on the side. Do the same with the salmon and peppers. Finally, put an egg in the middle.
- Now the “packet” is tightly closed with a clip or something similar. Make as many packages as needed. Now they come into the boiling water for 5-6 minutes, then the egg yolk is still relatively runny, at 7-8 minutes it is soft as wax.
- Open the bags, remove the poached eggs and … let taste good. Buon appetito 😀
