Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 16 sausages (Wiener, not from the jar!)
  • 4 bell peppers, red
  • 2 packs of cheese (Gouda), in one piece
  • 1 jar Miracle Whip
  • Vegetable broth, instant
  • pepper
  • possibly garlic
  • 1 large onion(s)

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 hours; Total time approx. 10 hours 30 minutes

my absolute favorite salad, and for me the best way to combine wieners with peppers and cheese

Cut the bell peppers into thin strips, the sausages into thin slices, and the cheese into cubes. Dice the onion and mix everything. Then empty the jar of mayonnaise over the mixture, fill it with lukewarm water up to the thickest point, add vegetable stock (I use about four tablespoons), shake vigorously, and mix well. Usually, just a little pepper is enough. Depending on your taste, and very importantly (!), let it marinate overnight.
