Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 liter of milk
- 125 g rice pudding
- 16 mg saffron powder
- 8 sugar cubes
- sugar, brown

Sweet rice porridge with saffron, Belgian recipe
Heat the milk and rice in a large pot, stirring constantly. Simmer on low heat for 15 minutes, lid not completely closed. Remove the lid and add the saffron and sugar, stirring constantly until the rice porridge begins to thicken. Be careful not to let it stick to the bottom of the pot. Ladle the porridge into bowls and let it cool. Sprinkle with brown sugar before serving.
