Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 350 g wheat flour
- 150 g rye flour
- 100 g natural yogurt or low-fat quark
- 1 cube of yeast, fresh
- 250 ml water, lukewarm
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp vinegar, mild
- Flour for molding and working
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
Dissolve the yeast and sugar in lukewarm water. Knead thoroughly with the other ingredients for at least 5 minutes. Sprinkle the sticky dough with flour for easier handling and shape it into a loaf. Let it rise in a floured loaf pan in a warm place for 30 minutes. Bake the bread at 230°C (top/bottom heat, no preheating) for about 50 minutes.
