Yogurt – Coconut – Red Berry Compote – Dessert

Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g natural yogurt, regular or low-fat
  • 300 ml whipped cream
  • some sugar
  • 500 g red fruit compote (1 large tub) from the refrigerated section
  • 150 g rusks (coconut rusks)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 8 hours; Total time approx. 8 hours 15 minutes

best left in the fridge overnight

Roughly break up the rusks. Line the bottom of a baking dish (e.g., a round one, 25 cm in diameter) with them. Whip the cream until semi-stiff, adding sugar to taste (less is better than more), and stir in the yogurt at the end. Pour the mixture onto the rusk layer, smooth it out, and spread the red fruit compote on top. The whole thing can be eaten immediately, but it tastes better if you let it sit for a few hours.
