Yogurt – cream – waffles

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 250 g sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 250 g butter
  • 5 eggs
  • 200 g cream
  • 300 g yogurt
  • 500 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 shot of Amaretto

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Beat the sugar, vanilla sugar, and butter until fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time. Stir in the cream, yogurt, amaretto, and cinnamon. Finally, combine the flour, salt, and baking powder and gradually stir into the mixture. Bake a good tablespoon of batter for each waffle in the waffle iron until lightly browned. This amount is enough for about 6 people with a hearty appetite. The amaretto can be omitted if children are eating with you.
