Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Makes 16 croissants, quick to make for breakfast

Combine flour, egg, salt, and yeast in a bowl. Gently warm the butter and yogurt and add to the other ingredients. Knead for about 10 minutes. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes. Halve the dough and roll out into a round about 3 mm thick. Cut the dough into eighths (like cake slices) and roll each piece up from the wide side. Repeat with the second half of the dough. Spray the dough pieces with water or bake with a burst of steam. Bake at 230°C for 12-15 minutes. Party extra tip: Top the croissants with ham, seeds, onions, bacon, or cream cheese before rolling them up.
