Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 60 g sesame seeds
  • 60 g sunflower seeds
  • 1 tbsp millet
  • 100 g carrot(s)
  • 350 g natural yogurt
  • 1 egg(s)

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

First, combine the flour with the baking powder, salt, and baking soda and set aside. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Now, make the seed mixture from the sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, and millet and set this aside. Peel the carrots and finely grate them. Place them in a mixing bowl with the yogurt. Mix everything with the egg until smooth. Add half of the seed mixture to this mixture. Then, sift the flour mixture into the mixing bowl and knead everything into a moist but smooth dough. Now, place everything on a floured surface and shape it into a nice loaf. Place this loaf on a baking sheet, brush it with water, and sprinkle with the remaining seed mixture.
