Yogurt poppy seed slices

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 2 cups of yogurt (250 g each)
  • 200 g poppy seeds
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • some cinnamon
  • 250 g powdered sugar
  • some rum

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

for approx. 15 cuts

A 250g yogurt pot is used as a measurement. Mix the listed ingredients into a batter. Spread onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 175°C (top/bottom heat) for about 30 minutes. Mix the icing sugar with enough rum to form a thick batter. Spread over the cooled cake. Once the icing has dried, cut the cake into approximately 15 slices.
