yogurt rolls

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 600 g wheat flour
  • 150 g yogurt
  • 150 ml water
  • 150 ml milk
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 cube of yeast or dry yeast

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

simple, makes about 10 servings

Put the flour in a mixing bowl, then add the yogurt, sugar, salt, and yeast. Heat the water and milk thoroughly and pour over the other ingredients. Knead the dough well with a dough hook or, if you prefer, with a food processor. The dough may be slightly sticky, but should still come out of the bowl easily. Now use a tablespoon to scoop out about 10-12 rolls and, once roughly shaped, place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. You can then let the rolls rise for another 20-30 minutes. Dust the rolls with a little flour and bake them in an unheated oven at about 230 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat) for about 25-30 minutes. Tip: They cook even better in a steamer with combi-steam.
