Zucchini and minced meat chili

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 zucchinis
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 2 onions
  • 1 bottle of chili sauce
  • 350 ml ketchup
  • 200 g crème fraîche
  • Oil for frying
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Peel the zucchini and cut into small pieces. Finely dice the onions and sauté them in a little oil in a deep pan or saucepan. Then add the minced meat and fry. Then add the zucchini cubes to the pan and fry them as well. Add the chili sauce and tomato ketchup. Stir everything well, season with salt and pepper, and simmer over low heat for 20-30 minutes. If you’re in a hurry, less heat will do. Stir in the crème fraîche before serving.
