Zucchini and minced meat sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g minced meat
  • 1 m.-large zucchini
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 200 g processed cheese
  • 125 g crème fraîche with herbs
  • 150 ml beef broth
  • salt and pepper
  • oil
  • Sauce thickener, optional

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Dice the zucchini and onion. Brown the minced meat in a pan with a little oil. After a few minutes, add the zucchini and onion and fry. After a few minutes, add the stock and bring to a boil. Gradually add the processed cheese and crème fraîche. Bring to a boil while stirring. Once the cheese has melted, simmer for a few more minutes until the sauce has a nice, creamy consistency. Stir occasionally. Thicken with a light sauce thickener, if desired. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with pasta or rice and a salad.
