Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 can/n tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 tbsp, heaped tomato paste
  • 200 ml water, approx.
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • some oil
  • some thyme
  • salt and pepper
  • some vegetable stock powder

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Brown the minced meat in a little oil. If you want to save calories, you can omit the oil. After about five minutes, stir in the tomato paste and let it roast for a few minutes. Deglaze with about 200 ml of water, bring to a boil briefly, and add the canned tomatoes. Season generously with salt and pepper. Add a little thyme and granulated stock, but not too much, so it doesn’t overpower the flavor. Press in a small garlic clove and bring to a boil. Note: The tomato paste thickens the sauce nicely; add a little more pasta water if necessary.
