Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cube of yeast
  • 450 ml water, lukewarm
  • 500 g wholemeal spelt flour or wholemeal wheat flour
  • 50 g sunflower seeds
  • 50 g sesame seeds
  • 50 g flaxseed
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp fruit vinegar or bread drink

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Mix the yeast with the water. Add all other ingredients and mix well. Pour into a greased pan and place in a cold oven. DO NOT LET THE BREAD PROVE! Bake for 60 minutes at 200°C (400°F) top/bottom heat or 50 minutes at 170°C (340°F) fan-assisted oven. Remove the bread from the pan and bake for an additional 10 minutes, if necessary. Seeds can be omitted or substituted (raisins, almonds, nuts).
