5-minute spelt bread with nuts

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 ml water, lukewarm
  • 1 cube of yeast
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 500 g wholemeal spelt flour or spelt flour
  • 250 g nuts, as desired, also mixed

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Super fast

Whisk together the water, yeast, salt, and apple cider vinegar. Stir in the spelt flour, then fold in the nuts. Line a loaf pan with baking paper and pour in the batter. Place the filled pan on the rack in the center of a cold oven. Now preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit) and bake for one hour. Remove the bread from the pan immediately after baking and let it cool on a wire rack to keep it nice and crispy.
