Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500 g gelling sugar, 2:1
- 3 apples
- 3 bananas
- 10 figs
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 28 minutes
A total of 800g of fruit is necessary and sufficient. I get by with 3 bananas, 3 medium-sized apples, and 10 figs. However, the amount can vary slightly depending on the size. The important thing is to get around 800g of fruit pulp. Peel the apples and cut into small cubes, as small as possible. Peel the bananas and slice them too. Hollow out the figs and add the pulp to the remaining fruit. If you like, you can briefly blend everything in a blender, but it’s not necessary. Mix everything together with the gelling sugar and bring to a boil. Simmer for about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. If the setting test is okay, fill the jars provided to the brim with the jam and let them stand upside down for about 10 minutes. I have enough for 5 normal-sized jars.
