Berries – Walnut – Red Wine – Jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 700 g fruit, frozen mixed berries
  • 200 ml wine, red, dry
  • 100 g walnuts
  • 2 pinches of ground cinnamon
  • 500 g sugar
  • 1 sachet of Gelfix Extra

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Weigh out 700g of berries, let them thaw, and collect the resulting juice. Measure out 200ml of red wine. Roughly chop the walnuts and weigh out 100g. Place the berries, juice, wine, walnuts, and cinnamon in a saucepan. Mix the measured amount of sugar with Gelfix Extra, then stir into the fruit mixture. Bring everything to a boil over high heat, stirring continuously. Boil for at least 3 minutes, stirring continuously, and remove from the heat. Skim off any skimmed milk, immediately fill prepared jars to the brim, and seal with lids.
