Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 100 g flour
- ½ tsp salt
- 250 ml milk
- 2 eggs
- 40 g butter
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 2 apples, variety of your choice
- some butter, for frying
- some sugar, for sprinkling
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes
Mix together the milk, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, eggs, and butter, then stir in the flour (makes 1/2 liter of batter). Peel the apples whole, core them with a corer, and cut each into 8 slices (approx. 0.5 cm thick). Heat a little butter in a 28 cm pan and add 1/4 liter of batter, spread 8 apple slices on top, and bake at medium heat for about 13 minutes. Then turn the pancake over a plate and bake for about another 13 minutes. Transfer the pancake to a plate and sprinkle with sugar and, if desired, cinnamon. Do the same with the remaining batter. Serve hot.
