Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 700 g potatoes, boiled, cut into 1/4 cm slices
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 150 g bacon, diced
  • 400 g onion(s), in rings
  • Garlic salt
  • Paprika powder, hot
  • 200 g cheese (Gouda), grated
  • Butter, for the mold
  • 250 ml cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Slowly fry the bacon in olive oil, add the onions, and sauté for 7-9 minutes. Season with garlic, salt, and paprika. Remove from heat and let cool. Layer the potatoes (fan-like), bacon, and onions in a greased dish and drizzle with cream. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for about 40 minutes. Sprinkle with Gouda cheese halfway through.
