Bacon mushrooms with wine

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g mushrooms
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 75 ml dry white wine
  • 100 ml cream
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • n. B. herbs, fresh

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

ideal as a pasta sauce

Clean the mushrooms, onion, and garlic. Dice the bacon, onion, and garlic. Halve or slice the mushrooms, depending on their size. Brown the bacon in olive oil. Add the onion, garlic, and mushrooms and cook. Season everything generously with salt and pepper. The mushrooms should be cooked through after about 8-10 minutes. Deglaze the mixture with white wine and bring back to a boil briefly. Add the cream. (I prefer Rama Cremefine, though.) Remove the pan from the heat and sprinkle the mushrooms with fresh herbs. Parsley goes well, or use any herbs you particularly like. These mushrooms also make a sauce for spaghetti or other pasta.
