Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g butter, soft or margarine
- 200 g sugar
- 2 packs of vanilla sugar, bourbon
- 6 egg yolks
- 6 egg whites, beaten stiff
- 200 g flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 200 g almond(s), ground
- 200 g chocolate (milk), chopped
- 400 g dough, (Hermann)
- 2 jars of sour cherries, drained or the equivalent amount of fresh

Cream the softened butter/margarine with sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Stir in the egg yolks one at a time. Combine the flour with the baking powder, almonds, and chocolate, and stir in. Add the Hermann mixture. Finally, fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites. Spread the batter onto a large, deep baking sheet and arrange the cherries on top. Bake: 45-55 minutes at 150-175°C (convection oven). Tip: If you halve the specified quantities, the batter will be sufficient for a springform pan.
