Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g margarine, vegan
  • 100 g sugar
  • 3 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 banana(s), mashed
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 pack of pudding powder, vanilla
  • 3 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 100 ml water

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Cream the margarine and stir in the sugar and vanilla sugar. Then add the mashed banana and stir in. Mix the flour, pudding powder, and baking powder and stir into the batter alternately with the water. Knead everything well and then, using two tablespoons, drop the batter in portions onto two baking sheets lined with baking paper, leaving some space between the American cookies as they will expand during baking. If necessary, you can round the dough piles a little more with the help of a knife. Then place the sheets in the preheated oven and bake at 180°C (or 160°C fan-assisted) for about 20 minutes. Once cooled, you can decorate the flat sides of the American cookies as desired with icing or chocolate coating. Makes about 12 cookies.
