Broccoli casserole with gnocchi

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 bag of gnocchi (500 g, refrigerated)
  • 1 head of broccoli, cut into florets, alternatively the same amount frozen
  • 1 cup of cream (200 ml)
  • n. B. Milk (approx. 200 – 260 ml)
  • 125 g bacon or raw ham, in one piece
  • 2 slice(s) cheese for topping, optional
  • 1 tsp, heaped salt
  • 1 tsp, heaped vegetable stock powder
  • 1 tsp, heaped paprika powder, sweet
  • 1 tsp, heaped oregano
  • 1 tsp, heaped marjoram
  • 1 tsp, leveled nutmeg
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 1 dashes Maggi

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

For the casserole, remove the gnocchi from the package and place them in a prepared casserole dish. Place the broccoli florets between the gnocchi. Now finely chop or dice the bacon or raw ham and add it to the gnocchi. Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan oven). For the cream, combine 200 ml of cream and milk (approx. 200 ml to 260 ml). Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour the cream into the casserole dish, ensuring the gnocchi and broccoli are well coated. If desired, sprinkle with cheese. Place the casserole dish in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes.
