  • 50 g sugar

  • 2 star anise, whole

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

extremely simple but with an “aha” effect

Heat the amount of milk called for in the pudding recipe in a saucepan. Add the spices and let it simmer for a few minutes. Briefly nip the cardamom pods with your fingernail to allow the aroma to develop better. Before using, pour the milk through a sieve to filter out the spices. Simply continue preparing the pudding according to the instructions. It goes perfectly with some crushed speculatius biscuits or a delicious liqueur as a sauce (e.g., marzipan liqueur or similar). This recipe is perfect if you’re planning a lavish Christmas dinner but don’t want to bother with an elaborate dessert, but still want the perfect finishing touch!
