Cheeseburger muffins with minced meat

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 pack of bread dough (Knack and Back rolls)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 200 g minced beef
  • some cheese
  • some pickles, small
  • 1 lettuce leaf
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard, e.g. honey mustard
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Heat the oil in a pan, peel the onion, and dice 2/3 of it. Preheat oven to 200 degrees (fan oven). Fry the diced onion in a pan until translucent and add the minced meat. Fry everything well and season with salt and pepper. Add the ketchup and mustard and mix everything together. Pull the Knack & Back rolls apart and place them in the greased muffin tin. Pour the minced meat mixture into the muffins and place the tin in the oven for approx. 5-7 minutes. Once the batter has risen a little, remove the muffins and sprinkle the cheese in small pieces over them. Now put the muffins back in the oven for a few minutes until the cheese is nicely melted. Remove the muffin tin from the oven and let the cheeseburger muffins cool slightly. Finally, decorate the muffins with pickles, lettuce, onions, or whatever else you want to add.
