Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 750 g plum(s), pitted
  • 200 ml rum, dark
  • 200 g brown sugar
  • 2 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 1 lemon(s), peel cut into strips
  • 500 ml water
  • 3 carnations

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest period approx. 7 days; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 minutes; Total time approx. 7 days 22 minutes

Delicious with desserts, creams and ice cream – great gift idea!

Place the plums in a bowl. Bring the remaining ingredients to a boil and simmer for about 2 minutes, then remove from the heat. Pour the syrup over the plums. Layer the plums in sterilized jars and cover with the syrup. Seal the jars. Let them sit in a cool, dark place for one week before eating. Unopened, they will keep for 12 months.
