Pangasius fillet 'Chakalaka'

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 pangasius fillets
  • 5 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 handful of basil, finely chopped
  • 200 g cream
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 30 g chips (funny Chipsfrisch Chakalaka), lightly crushed
  • lemon juice
  • n. B. Sea salt, from the mill
  • n. B. Pepper, colorful from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

without much effort

Season the pangasius fillets with sea salt and mixed pepper. Place them in an ovenproof casserole dish (pan). Mix the cream with enough lemon juice until creamy. Stir in the egg yolks, garlic, and basil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Fold in the lightly crushed Chakalaka chips. Spread this mixture over the fillets and place the dish in the oven preheated to 200°C (400°F), second rack from the bottom, for 20 minutes. Finally, turn on the broiler. Serve with toast, rustic white bread, or baguette.
