  • 150 g sugar or cane sugar
  • 200 g butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 tbsp baking powder

  • 50 g ground almonds
  • ½ cup milk, maybe more

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Tastes like apple strudel with vanilla sauce. Makes 18 pieces

Melt the butter in a pan or a baking-safe bowl until soft, then mix it well with the sugar, vanilla sugar, and eggs in a bowl. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, vanilla pudding powder, and ground almonds. Slowly stir the flour mixture into the butter mixture. If the mixture is too dry, add a little more milk. Cut the peeled or unpeeled apples into small pieces (approx. 1 cm) and add them to the batter along with the raisins. Pour the batter into muffin cups and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 15 minutes.
