Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 300 g wheat flour or light spelt flour
- 150 g sugar or cane sugar
- 200 g butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 2 tbsp baking powder
- 1 packet of pudding powder (vanilla flavor)
- 3 large apples, sour
- 1 handful of raisins, if desired
- 50 g ground almonds
- ½ cup milk, maybe more
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Tastes like apple strudel with vanilla sauce. Makes 18 pieces
Melt the butter in a pan or a baking-safe bowl until soft, then mix it well with the sugar, vanilla sugar, and eggs in a bowl. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, vanilla pudding powder, and ground almonds. Slowly stir the flour mixture into the butter mixture. If the mixture is too dry, add a little more milk. Cut the peeled or unpeeled apples into small pieces (approx. 1 cm) and add them to the batter along with the raisins. Pour the batter into muffin cups and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 15 minutes.
