Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500 g minced beef
- 1 package of spinach (spiced spinach, frozen)
- 1 pack of dough sheets, yufka (triangles)
- pepper
- Salt
- Garlic granules
- Cayenne pepper
- cumin
- Rapeseed oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Prepare the spinach according to the package instructions. In a large pan, fry the minced meat in a little oil until crumbly and season well. Add the spinach to the minced meat and mix, then season well again. Place a tablespoon of the minced meat and spinach mixture on the wide end of each yufka triangle. Fold in the corners first (so the filling doesn’t leak out) and roll up. Fry in batches in a pan with plenty of oil on all sides. Alternatively, the rolls can be baked in the oven at around 200°C until they are nicely browned (turn halfway through!), although they will crisp up in the pan. Tip: The börek are also great to prepare in advance for a party, for example, and can be briefly reheated in the oven.
