Strawberry-banana jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 600 g strawberries
  • 400 g banana(s)
  • 50 ml lemon juice
  • 500 g gelling sugar 2:1

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 20 minutes

Wash, stem, and puree the strawberries. Peel, slice, and puree the bananas. Mix the fruit with the sugar and lemon juice thoroughly and let it steep in a cool place for about 3 hours. Bring the mixture to a boil in a large saucepan (only half full), stirring constantly. Boil for 4 minutes, stirring continuously. Immediately pour the finished jam into hot, rinsed jars. Fill the jars to the brim, screw on the lids, and turn them upside down for about 10 minutes.
