Strawberry jam

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 kg strawberries
  • ½ kg raw cane sugar (gelling sugar 2:1), vegan
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

with raw cane sugar

Wash the strawberries and remove the green parts. Chop the berries into small pieces and then puree half of them. Gently bring all ingredients to a boil in a large saucepan, stirring occasionally. Simmer over medium heat for eight minutes. Immediately transfer the jam to clean screw-top jars. Screw on tightly, turn upside down, and let cool.
