Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 800 g blackberries, washed, well drained, sorted
- 200 g pear(s), peeled and cut into pieces
- 1 banana(s) (approx. 200 g)
- 1 vanilla pod(s)
- 500 g cane sugar (gelling raw cane sugar), 2:1
- 1 lemon(s), juice
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Blackberry, pear, banana
Mix the blackberries, pear pieces, and a halved, lengthwise sliced vanilla pod with the gelling sugar, mash lightly if necessary, and let it draw its juice for a few hours, preferably overnight. Then heat gently, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has completely dissolved. Strain through a sieve (remove the vanilla pod first!). Cut the banana into small pieces and add to the puree. Heat with the lemon juice, stirring, and boil for 3-4 minutes (test for setting!). Immediately pour into hot, rinsed jars, turn them upside down for 10 minutes, then turn them upside down and let cool undisturbed.
