Red wine and cherry dessert

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 bottle of red wine (Dornfelder)
  • 1 jar sour cherries
  • 2 packs of chocolate pudding powder
  • 8 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup of cream (200 ml)
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pack of cream stiffener
  • Cinnamon powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes

Drain the cherries and reserve the juice. Top up the red wine with cherry juice to 1 liter. Pour into a saucepan with the sugar and bring to a boil. Mix the pudding mix according to the package instructions and add it to the boiling red wine. Bring to a boil once and remove from the heat. Stir in the cherries and pour into dessert glasses. Let cool. Whip the cream with cream stabilizer and vanilla sugar until stiff and pipe onto the cooled pudding. Dust with cinnamon to finish.
