Hot lemon with ginger and mint

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 lemon(s), untreated
  • 1 bunch mint, fresh
  • 7 ½ cm ginger root, fresh
  • 750 ml water
  • Sugar and/or
  • Honey

Instructions

Working time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 8 minutes

Place lemon zest and juice, ginger, and mint in a teapot. Pour over 750 ml of boiling water and let it steep for 6 minutes. Serve hot in teacups, garnished with ginger and lemon slices. Sweeten with sugar or honey, if desired.
