Pork fillet in cheese and herb sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g pork fillet(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 shallot(s), chopped
  • 4 tbsp cream cheese with herbs
  • Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the fillet into 2 cm thick slices. Season with salt and pepper and sear on both sides in hot oil. Remove and wrap in aluminum foil. Pour out the cooking fat and heat the butter in a pan. Sauté the shallot until soft. Melt the cream cheese in the pan and season with Worcestershire sauce. Stir any meat juices into the sauce. Add the meat to the sauce and let it simmer. Suitable side dishes include hash browns, potato cakes, and salad.
