Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 250 g pasta (spaghetti)
- 1 onion(s), thick
- 1 can of corn
- 1 can of tuna, in its own juice
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup of sweet cream
- 2 sprigs of thyme
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper, ground
- 1 tsp cornstarch
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Boil salted water for the spaghetti. Dice the onions and sauté them in a pot with a little oil. Add the drained corn. Shred the tuna (also drained) with a fork and add it. Meanwhile, add the spaghetti to the boiling water. Stir the cornstarch into the sour cream (this prevents it from curdling) and add it to the pot, along with the sweet cream. Season with salt and pepper, add the torn thyme leaves, and the cayenne pepper. Simmer for about 2-3 minutes, otherwise the cornstarch tastes better, and the sauce becomes nice and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a splash of white wine. Drain the spaghetti and mix it with the sauce, transfer it to a bowl, and enjoy.
